At Ignite we understand that children and young people will have difficult days and these are the moments where having a safe and nurturing figure to help them through those moments is pivotal.

Should the need arise, our experienced and highly trained team can meet a young person at a nominated location and transport them to a safe residential setting (hotel / motel) where our team will assume that primary carer role and ensure the young person’s needs are met by having someone to ‘be there’ while they work through the complexities of their situation.

Ignite try to instill a sense of normality  in what can be far from normal circumstances. Our dedicated team include the young person in the decision making process to collaboratively develop “house expectations” and consultation is had to develop healthy meal plans.

Our team can liaise with the young person’s school to attain work and assist the young person with their learning to develop positive routines. Outings and fun activities are identified with the young person and are instilled to maximise involvement and potential for goal succession.
