MENTORING
Ignite’s Therapeutic Mentoring programs offer structured, one-on-one, strength-based supports to children and young people to work towards a specific goal.
Highly trained professionals from our team will transport (if required) and supervise the interactions between a young person and their significant others to ensure the time spent with one another is beneficial, safe and meaningful.
Ignite Support workers who are therapeutically trained will transport a child and young person/s and in some cases, their family or significant others to a variety of locations and activities, ensuring they arrive safely. Such activities can include (Interagency meetings, Doctors appointments, community events & supervised contacts).
The Ignite team understand that the rewards of caring for children and young people are at times accompanied with pressures and complexities for carers, their families and the children themselves.
At Ignite we understand that children and young people will have difficult days and these are the moments where having a safe and nurturing figure to help them through those moments is pivotal.
The Ignite team are diverse in cultural background, experience and profession / skill sets. Our compassionate team have been trained to manage the most sensitive of matters.
